Location: La Verne, California

Description: The Volunteer Personal Shopper plays an important role in carrying out the organization's mission to empower girls and women. They assist clients in understanding what they're looking for or in need of, and maintain a clean and inviting space for both clients and volunteers, ensuring a pleasant women's center and shopping experience.

Responsibilities:

• Engage with clients to understand what they’re looking for or in need of.
• Familiarize yourself with the layout of the Women's Center to locate requested items.
• Ensure a pleasant, easy shopping experience.
• Work with staff to maintain the donation center well-organized and clean.
• Keep track of inventory levels.
• Ensure items are properly sorted and stored.
• Maintain a clean and inviting space for both clients and volunteers.

Requirements:

• Communication and interpersonal skills
• Previous customer service experience preferred
• Ability to interact with diverse client population in a respectful manner.
• Attention to detail when sorting and organizing donations.
• Commitment to our organizations missions and values.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds and stand for extending periods

Time commitment:

• One shift a week (4hrs) between the hours of 9am-4pm
• 6 months minimum
