About the Mission

The Shepherd’s Ark is a Christ-centered ministry dedicated to bringing order to the chaos and justice to the destitution of both animals and humans. This new program is the flagship of The Animal Cause, Inc., a 501(c)(3) Christian animal welfare organization.

The foundation for this mission has been laid by the Lord, and we are seeking passionate, skilled individuals to help build our organizational infrastructure. We are transparent about the challenges we've faced in the past and are committed to building a new foundation centered on faith. This is a unique opportunity to help shape a ministry from the ground up, with the potential to move into a traditional leadership role in the future.

The Role (Project Mode)

This is an unpaid, volunteer position. We are in a foundational "project mode" phase and are seeking Volunteer Advisors to provide expert guidance and hands-on support.

This is not a traditional, long-term role. We are recruiting for a PROJECT STAGE of the Program launch, and advisors are needed until traditional roles are appropriate and can be posted. We want to be upfront about the commitment to ensure we find people who are aligned with our mission and ready for this unique phase.

• Recruiting
• Marketing & Social Media Management
• Website Management & Graphic Design
• Nonprofit Compliance and Regulation
• Volunteer Coordination & Management
• Board of Directors, Legal & Fundraising
• Grant Writers
• Generational Experts

Time Commitment & Culture

This is a flexible role, with an estimated commitment of 2–5 hours per week. We are happy to discuss a schedule that works for you.

The Shepherd’s Ark is a Christ-centered mission where prayer, scripture, and conversations about the Lord are part of our daily culture.

• For Advisory Roles: Applicants do not need to be practicing believers to serve as advisors, but you must be comfortable participating in and respecting a faith-based environment.
• For Board & Leadership Roles: These roles will require an active Christian faith.
