Read-a-thon April 6

The Resident Services team at Affordable Homes & Communities (AHC) organizes a variety of fun events to bring neighbors together. We are looking for volunteers to help with events at the Westerly Apartments, a mixed-income apartment building with 136 affordable housing units at 350 Maple Dr SW, Washington, DC 20024.

On Monday, April 6, children are invited to join a Read-a-thon. We'll have a variety of activities including a trip to the local library, breakfast & lunch, and celebrity readers. There are two volunteer shifts: 8-11:30am and 11:30am-4pm.

Volunteers (age 18+) should be patient and comfortable with children. NO Cell Phone use while volunteering.
