Role Description
We are seeking a skilled and reliable volunteer with WordPress experience to help us maintain and improve our website. This role is ideal for someone who wants to use their professional expertise to support a mission-driven organization.
Responsibilities
- Keep our WordPress site updated and secure (plugins, themes, backups).
- Troubleshoot technical issues as they arise.
- Ensure the site remains user-friendly and accessible.
- Support with small design/content updates (as needed).
- Recommend improvements to optimize site performance.
Qualifications
- Experience managing and maintaining WordPress websites.
- Familiarity with themes, plugins, and basic troubleshooting.
- Understanding of security best practices.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- A commitment to Forces for Change’s mission.
Time Commitment
Flexible—approximately 2–4 hours per month, with occasional extra time for larger updates.
