HOSPICE VOLUNTEER

Hospice volunteers bring comfort, dignity, and human connection to patients and families during some of life’s most meaningful moments. Volunteers may visit patients in their homes to offer companionship—listening to stories, sharing conversation, and engaging in what brings each person joy. Others support families by providing gentle respite for caregivers or sitting with patients and loved ones during the final hours, ensuring no one is alone.

For those who prefer behind-the-scenes support, volunteers can also assist our branch offices with administrative tasks that help our care teams better serve patients and families. Whether offering a quiet presence or lending a helping hand, hospice volunteers play a vital role in honoring life, compassion, and care.
