Position: Collaborative Assistant

Team: MotherBoard - Assistant to ChairMom of Operational Dynamics

Time Commitment: 3 hours a week

Role Overview

The Collaborative Assistant is elected by the MotherBoard to nurture and maintain relationships with Momivate’s collaborators. She upholds warm, consistent contact with collaborators to keep Momivate’s needs and interests fresh in their minds.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and assimilate Momivate’s lists of collaborators, refining them to create a master list of ideal contacts who hold Momivate’s mission at heart.
• Regularly reach out to collaborators, nurturing relationships of warmth and respect–at least 10 emails per week.
• Attend meetings, virtually or in person, to keep Momivate’s presence prominent. For example, the Utah County Partners for Families and Children meets virtually on Tuesdays at 9am. The Postpartum Support International Utah chapter holds quarterly virtual meetings on Fridays at noon.
• Meet with Chairmom of Operational Dynamics monthly to discuss current initiatives.
• As needed, attend MotherBoard meetings to share updates.

Requirements

• Friendly, confident communicator who enjoys connecting with others and has good public relations skills
• Strong task‑management and follow‑through abilities
• A heart for supporting mothers and strengthening families
