About Nutrition Clarity Foundation
Nutrition Clarity Foundation is a community-based nonprofit providing free nutrition literacy resources and community education. We help individuals and families better understand food labels, ingredients, and everyday grocery decisions in clear, accessible ways.
Role Overview
We are seeking a Volunteer Social Media & Content Coordinator to help expand the reach of our educational resources.
This role focuses on sharing existing educational content, helping grow our online presence, and increasing visibility for our free nutrition education materials.
It is ideal for someone interested in digital communications, social media growth, nonprofit outreach, or public health education.
Responsibilities
- Help schedule and publish social media posts across platforms (primarily Instagram and LinkedIn)
- Share and promote existing educational resources from our website
- Assist with turning educational topics into simple, engaging posts
- Support growth of our audience through consistent content sharing
- Help track basic engagement and website traffic from social platforms
This role focuses on content distribution and outreach, not providing nutrition advice.
Qualifications – Must Have
- Interest in social media, digital communication, or nonprofit outreach
- Basic familiarity with platforms such as Instagram and LinkedIn
- Organized and able to maintain a simple posting schedule
- Strong written communication
Preferred
- Experience with Canva or basic graphic tools
- Interest in public health, nutrition education, or community initiatives
- Experience managing or contributing to social media accounts
Time Commitment
Approximately 4–8 hours per month, flexible.
