Description:
Apostolic Voice Education Trust is seeking a passionate Volunteer Web Developer to help us build a fully functional, modern, and impactful website for our nonprofit. This is a remote opportunity that comes with leadership experience, a certificate of appreciation, and a recommendation letter for your portfolio.
As our Volunteer Web Developer, you’ll play a critical role in creating an online presence that showcases our mission, programs, and community impact, helping us reach volunteers, donors, and partners across Africa and globally.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop a responsive, user-friendly website.
Implement pages to showcase programs, volunteer opportunities, donations, and impact stories.
Ensure site SEO best practices for better visibility.
Integrate essential features: donation button, volunteer sign-up forms, event calendar, contact forms, and media galleries.
Collaborate remotely with the Apostolic Voice Education Trust team for content and design decisions.
Maintain website functionality and offer post-launch support if possible.
Qualifications:
Experience in web development (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, WordPress, or similar CMS).
Strong design sense with UX/UI skills.
Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment.
Passion for education, literacy, and community empowerment.
No formal experience is strictly required; guidance and mentorship will be provided.
