As a Direct Care Volunteer, you will provide compassionate, non-medical support to patients. Your presence brings comfort, dignity, and companionship during an important stage of life. Responsibilities may include:
- Offering companionship through conversation, reading, or simply being present
- Providing respite for caregivers
- Assisting with light activities such as letter writing, playing music, or helping with hobbies
- Supporting patients emotionally through active listening and kindness
Volunteers receive training and ongoing support. Your time and empathy can make a meaningful difference in someone's final journey.
