Join AARP Nevada Tax-Aide
Help seniors and low come taxpayers get FREE tax preparation and filing services. Tax-Aide volunteers make a meaningful difference in the lives of older adults. Even modest refunds have an impact.
AARP Tax-Aide Appointment Schedulers
- Work independently using a computer to return calls.
- Make appointments via an online system.
- Retrieve Google voice messages and returns calls.
- Ability to listen, be patient and determine taxpayer needs.
- No experience necessary.
Every year, from early February to mid-April, Tax-Aide volunteers work on site to prepare and file taxpayer returns.
As an AARP Tax-Aide volunteer, you’ll receive training and support, learn new skills, and connect with people in your community while helping others. You will have fun and feel good knowing you're making a positive impact with a team of volunteers.
Volunteers come from a variety of industries, ranging from retirees to college students, and do not need to be AARP members. This is an excellent way to give back to your community. Plus, you’ll make new friends with other volunteers and taxpayers. Please consider giving us some of your time.
