About the Position
The Membership Committee Member supports the day-to-day operations of the Membership Department. Committee members play an active role in strengthening the organization by contributing to program development, reviewing and approving membership applications, and assisting current and prospective members throughout the membership process. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the daily operations of the Membership Department
- Contribute to the development and improvement of membership programs
- Review, evaluate, and approve membership applications
- Provide guidance and support to members regarding the membership process
- Collaborate with other committees and leadership to enhance member engagement
Requirements
- Completion of a Bachelor’s degree program (required)
- Ideal for postgraduate or gap-year students pursuing or planning to pursue careers in MD, DO, PA, or other health-related fields (preferred, but not required)
- Prior experience in leadership, program development, or organizational roles is strongly preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
