Cancer Center Volunteers Needed at Aurora West Allis

During long treatments volunteers support patients by visiting with those who would like companionship during their time undergoing treatment; getting beverages, warm blankets or anything else to help make the patient’s experience as comfortable and healing as possible. Between patients, volunteers clean infusion chairs and blood pressure cuffs and tidy other areas of unit along with any other administrative tasks as assigned.

Volunteers do not enter isolation rooms.

AAH will provide any required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Proper hand hygiene will be taught.
