Hospice is about family and community...and volunteers bring heart to hospice.
Our volunteers provide companionship, emotional support and friendship not only to the patient but the friends and family of the patient as well. Our volunteers provide the following services:
Reading, writing letters, playing games
Staying with the patient to allow family/caregiver to run errands or have an outing
Child care to relieve a caregiver
Telephone reassurance
Household assistance and errands
