    Become a volunteer tutor with Learn To Be! LTB Tutors are dedicated volunteers who believe deeply in educational equity. Our tutors volunteer their time to make the lives of underserved K-12 kids and their families easier, their opportunities greater, and their dreams bigger.

    Responsibilities:

    • Select your own student to work with from a list of available student profiles.
    • Commit to tutoring at least 1-2x per week for 4 months or longer.
    • Support your student/s with homework help or use the resources provided by LTB to create your own lesson plans for your student.
    • Submit 1-2 minute feedback forms after each tutoring session.

    • Build connections with students from all over the US to broaden your perspective and learn more about yourself.
    • Join a diverse network of passionate individuals.
    • Receive community service hours, letters of recommendation, and build your resume!
    • Volunteer on your own schedule without having to leave the house.
    • Develop your leadership skills as a successful tutor and mentor.
    • Earn hours towards the Presidential Volunteer Service Award (LTB is a qualifying organization and would be happy to purchase the award for our tutors)

    *Tutoring with LTB is a 100% volunteer and unpaid position. We are so grateful for your support. We would not be where we are without our volunteer tutors.
