Volunteer at your local farmers market!
FRESHFARM builds a more equitable, sustainable, and resilient food system in the Mid-Atlantic region through hands-on education, farmers markets, farm stands, and food distribution programs. Join our team as a Farmers Market Volunteer!
Market Volunteers play a number of roles at FRESHFARM including helping with our market operations, assisting with food access programs, and adding to FRESHFARM’s spirit of community by greeting customers and answering questions. We have volunteer opportunities at our Farmers Markets and Farm Stands throughout Washington DC, Fairfax County, and Arlington County.
Volunteers are needed at our locations in Arlington County and Fairfax County.

- Reston Market: Wednesdays 3-7pm, 11900 Lawyers Rd Reston, VA 20191
- Ballston Market: Thursdays 3-7pm, 901 N Taylor St Arlington, VA 22203
- Arlington Market: Saturdays 8am-12pm, 1400 N Courthouse Rd Arlington, VA 22201
- Mosaic Market: Sundays 9am-2pm, 2920 District Ave Fairfax, VA 22031
