Help young people get where opportunity is happening. Transportation is one of the largest barriers we face.
What You'll Do
• Drive youth to sporting events, practices and programs
• Provide transportation to job shadowing opportunities and educational experiences
• Support field trips, community projects and other approved VOV activities
• Coordinate pickup and drop-off with VOV staff and families
Who This Is For
Licensed, insured drivers with a clean driving record and a reliable vehicle. Drivers with van, bus or CDL capacity are especially needed. All drivers must meet VOV safety and background screening requirements before transporting any participant.
Time Commitment
Flexible. Scheduled around program calendar. Chicago and surrounding communities.
Why It Matters
A program a young person cannot reach is not a program. You are the bridge.
