Veteran Hospice Support Needed in Greene and Pitt Counties

3HC is a proud member of the national We Honor Veterans program that is ran by the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization. Here at 3HC we strive to partner veteran patients with veteran volunteers to help provide companionship, through our Vet-to-Vet Partnership program. Some patients just like to sit and talk while others may be non-verbal but still would like someone to read to them or just to hold their hand.

Another area to serve in would be our Veteran Pinning Ceremonies. When a new veteran patient is on-boarded to our services we present the veteran with a certificate of appreciation and an American flag lapel pin.
