💙 Volunteer Opportunity: Be a Friend to a Hospice Patient Sometimes the greatest gift you can give is simply your presence. Providence Home Health & Hospice is looking for compassionate volunteers to visit hospice patients living in local nursing homes

No medical care is required. Just spend time with someone who could use a friendly face.

As a hospice companion volunteer, you might:

• Visit and chat with a patient
• Listen to their stories
• Read aloud from a book or magazine
• Play cards or a simple game
• Look through family photos
• Sit quietly and provide comforting companionship

Even one hour a week can brighten someone's day and remind them they are not alone.

We provide:
