Help Kids Learn to Save: Donate Toys to Our Big Market Day

Help Stock Our Youth Big Market Day!

We are looking for new or gently used toys, games, electronics, gift cards, and other items for youth ages 6–13 to stock our upcoming Big Market Day at Hidden Brook Apartments.

Big Market Day is part of Hope Communities’ “$100 Money Challenge,” a two-month financial literacy program where youth receive $100 in class money and practice budgeting, spending, and saving. At the end of the program, they’ll use the money they saved to “purchase” items at Big Market Day.

What We Need

We’re looking for fun, age-appropriate items that youth will be excited to save their money for, including:

• LEGO and building sets
• Squishies and sensory toys
• Board and card games
• Art and craft kits
• STEM and science kits
• Books and puzzles
• Sports equipment
• Journals and activity sets
• Headphones and child-friendly electronics
• Kindles or similar devices
• Gift cards
• Other quality toys and items for ages 6–13

New or gently used items are welcome.

Your donation gives our youth something exciting to work toward while they practice saving, budgeting, patience, and making thoughtful financial decisions.
