Human Health Project (HHP) is a holistic health literacy charity. Our mission is to improve the health of the underserved and vulnerable through holistic information, education and advocacy. What You'll Do
Project Planning & Execution
- Define project scope, objectives, timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
- Coordinate work across cross-functional volunteer teams.
- Facilitate project meetings and maintain project documentation.
- Track progress and proactively identify risks or roadblocks.
- Ensure projects remain aligned with organizational priorities.
- Develop project roadmaps and implementation plans.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Serve as the primary point of contact for your project team.
- Foster collaboration across technical, healthcare, design, research, and business volunteers.
- Help prioritize initiatives and allocate volunteer resources effectively.
- Encourage accountability and maintain consistent communication.
Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows and operational efficiency.
- Implement project management best practices and documentation standards.
- Create repeatable processes that support long-term organizational growth.

Children's Health Literacy and Youth Mental Health
Help develop educational programs that improve health literacy and outcomes for children, parents, caregivers, and schools.
Responsibilities include:
- Coordinate research and development of age-appropriate educational resources.
- Manage collaboration between healthcare professionals, educators, writers, and designers.
- Oversee curriculum planning and educational content development.
- Coordinate pilot programs and gather feedback from stakeholders.
- Track project milestones and content publication schedules.
- Support partnerships with schools, nonprofits, and community organizations.

Revenue Generation & Grants

- Manage fundraising initiatives, sponsorships, and strategic partnership projects.
- Track funding opportunities, donor relationships, and project milestones using CRM and project management tools.
- Coordinate collaboration between leadership, marketing, and external partners.
- Support healthcare reimbursement, business development, and revenue-generating initiatives.
- Help improve fundraising processes and identify new opportunities for organizational growth.

- Coordinate updates to existing educational materials.

- Identify pain points, process gaps, and opportunities to improve the user experience.
- Work with design, product, and technical teams to translate requirements into actionable improvements.
- Support development of user journeys, workflows, and project documentation.
- Help ensure HHP's platforms and programs are accessible, intuitive, and aligned with organizational goals.

Shared Patient Information (SPI)
Lead the development and launch of HHP’s Shared Patient Information program, which aims to help patients share health information, connect with relevant clinical research opportunities, and participate in an ethical revenue-sharing model.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop and manage the SPI roadmap from platform preparation and patient consent through pilot launch and revenue generation.
- Coordinate technology, privacy and security, clinical data, legal, patient engagement, and business development workstreams.
- Establish project timelines, milestones, responsibilities, dependencies, and success measures.
- Oversee preparation of patient consent, data standardization, de-identification, and secure data-sharing processes.
- Coordinate relationships and pilot activities with CROs, pharmaceutical companies, research organizations, and other partners.
- Manage the patient-matching workflow, including recruitment, screening, partner handoff, enrollment tracking, and revenue-share operations.
- Identify project risks, remove blockers, and provide progress updates to HHP leadership.

Help strengthen HHP’s visibility, community engagement, and outreach across its health literacy programs and digital platforms.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop and manage marketing plans, campaign timelines, and content calendars.
- Coordinate social media, email, website, video, and promotional content.
- Work with program teams to communicate HHP’s impact, resources, events, and volunteer opportunities.
- Manage collaboration among writers, designers, video editors, and digital marketing volunteers.
- Track campaign performance, audience engagement, and opportunities for improvement.
- Maintain consistent messaging and branding across HHP communications.

Healthcare Access
Help expand HHP’s Healthcare Access for All program, which provides underserved and vulnerable communities with practical health literacy, healthcare navigation, and patient advocacy resources.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop and manage project plans for online courses, patient advocacy workshops, and peer-to-peer events.
- Coordinate educators, patient advocates, healthcare professionals, community partners, and volunteers.
- Support the development of accessible, multilingual, and culturally relevant educational resources.
- Manage program timelines, outreach activities, participant recruitment, and event logistics.
- Collect participant feedback and track program reach, engagement, and outcomes.
- Coordinate with Marketing, Learning Academy, Grants, and community organizations to expand the program.
- Help scale successful pilot activities into sustainable and repeatable programs.

- Passion for improving healthcare and supporting underserved communities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leading volunteer or nonprofit teams.
- Familiarity with Agile or other project management methodologies.
- Experience using project management platforms (Jira, Trello, ClickUp, Asana, Monday.com, etc.).
- PMP, CAPM, Scrum, Agile, or similar certifications are a plus.
- Healthcare, education, nonprofit, technology, UX, fundraising, or security experience depending on your chosen focus area.
