Community Partnership Engagement Liaison

The volunteer in the Community Partner Engagement role serves as liaison between Gentiva Hospice and the broader community. Volunteers work to build relationships with local organizations, businesses, faith communities, and civic groups to increase awareness of hospice services, promote volunteer opportunities, and develop mutually beneficial partnerships.

Goals:

• Strengthen Gentiva's presence in the local community.
• Develop ongoing collaborations with community partners.
• Educate the public on hospice care and volunteerism.
• Expand access to support resources for patients and families.

Core Tasks:

• Represent Gentiva at community events, health fairs, or organizational meetings.
• Facilitate presentations or informational sessions about hospice services.
• Identify and connect with potential community partners (e.g., senior centers, churches, schools).
• Distribute educational and promotional materials in the community.
• Report community outreach activity and feedback to volunteer coordinators.
