Animal must be certified as a therapy animal by a pet therapy organization such as Alliance of Therapy Dogs, Therapy Dogs International, or another recognized group. We'll provide tips for getting certified.
Descrição
We are seeking canine friends and their owners to share their companionship with our hospice patients. Pet therapy is a proven smile-maker! We love to see the joy on our patients faces when they see a four-legged friend prance down the hall into their room for a visit. Pets help patients shed anxiety, fear, and loneliness. Pets can increase socialization, even for the most stubbornly isolated patient, or decrease feelings of depression. You know how great your dog makes you feel - share that joy with others too!
