Volunteer | Beach Community Food Pantry

Located in the heart of beautiful Indian Rocks Beach, the Beach Community Food Pantry serves neighbors in need with dignity, compassion, and consistency. Our volunteers are the heart of our work — helping us provide food, essentials, and care to local families.

We’re currently seeking reliable, caring volunteers to support a variety of meaningful roles.

Opportunities:

Drivers – Mondays, 8:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.

• Drive pantry van to Feeding Tampa Bay to pick up food
• Load/unload pantry items
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs

Merchandise Support – Mondays, 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.

• Mark inventory and sort donations
• Includes occasional vegetable prep

General Sorting – Mon, Tue & Wed, 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

• Assist with sorting pantry items and donations

Grocery Shopping Support – Flexible

• Shop at Walmart and Dollar Tree using pantry van and provided funds

Gardening Support – Flexible

• Water and occasionally plant herbs

Monthly Cleaning Support – Once per month

• Clean refrigerators and freezers

Pet Food Sorting – Flexible

• Portion large bags of pet food into smaller distribution units
