Descrição
Interact with patients and families within our surgical waiting room. Waiting room volunteers enjoy connecting with families and staff. Assist anxious families by serving as a host/hostess and as a liaison between families of patients and the medical team in this fast-paced environment!

Please note, all volunteers must complete a screening process prior to joining the team which includes:
- Placement Interview and Orientation
- Volunteer Handbook Review
- State of Iowa Background check
- National Background check (if applicable)
- Health Screening
- Covid and Flu Vaccination Required
- Tuberculosis (TB) Test
- Adults commit to a minimum of 6 months
- Undergrad/Graduate students commit to a minimum of 2 semesters
1 shift available:
- Two shifts / 7 am to 11:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. 4:00pm: 07:00 to 11:00 CST
