WomenSafe General Volunteer Opportunities in Geauga County

VOLUNTEER AVAILABILITY

• When volunteers are recruited by the Volunteer Coordinator or his/her designee, they will be provided with expectations outlining the duties of a particular position.
• Additional volunteer expectations will be developed as the need for volunteers at WomenSafe changes.

CURRENT EXPECTATIONS

• Outlined in each volunteer position are:
  • the expected duties and responsibilities of the position
  • the expected duties and responsibilities of the position
  • qualifications for the position
  • orientation and training requirements for the particular positions
  • identification of who will be supervising the volunteer

VOLUNTEER EXPECTATIONS

• Volunteers will be informally evaluated on an annual basis to determine if they are meeting the expectations as outlined in the job descriptions (see Attachment A)
• Volunteers will be asked to complete a Volunteer Satisfaction Survey on an annual basis to determine if they wish to remain an active volunteer and ask if they need additional training.
