Philadelphia County Hospice Companionship Volunteer

Hospice Compassus is currently recruiting for Friendly Visitor Volunteers. The volunteer act as a friendly visitor that may chat with patients, watch TV, have lunch, doing an activity, sitting outside together or just simply hold their hand as they rest. The patients may be located in a residential home or reside in a long term facility.

Hospice Compassus provides training on how to work with people at the end of life. The volunteer provides the talent, compassion, and time. The volunteer assignmments are made according to the volunteer's time and location. Hospice volunteering is flexible and so rewarding !
