Amedisys Hospice in Bedford, New Hampshire is seeking Patient Companion Volunteers to provide comfort, companionship, and emotional support to individuals and families during life’s most meaningful moments.

💙 What Hospice Patient Companion Volunteers Do

As a Patient Companion Volunteer, you may:

• • Spend one‑on‑one time with hospice patients, offering companionship and conversation
  • Provide a calm, reassuring presence through reading, listening, or quiet time
  • Offer respite and emotional support to caregivers
  • Help reduce loneliness and bring comfort to patients in their own homes or care facilities

No medical tasks are required—just your time, compassion, and willingness to be present.
