FOZA is seeking a detail-oriented volunteer to support our fundraising strategy through research and information gathering. This role focuses on identifying potential funding opportunities and organizing key details for leadership review.
This is a behind-the-scenes support role and does not involve fundraising solicitations.
Key Responsibilities
- Research grant and foundation funding opportunities aligned with FOZA’s mission
- Identify relevant corporate giving or sponsorship programs
- Compile basic information such as deadlines, eligibility criteria, and funding focus
- Share organized summaries or spreadsheets with FOZA leadership
Who We’re Looking For
- Volunteers who enjoy research, organization, and strategic support
- Individuals interested in nonprofit sustainability and ethical funding
- Comfortable working independently and communicating findings clearly

Friends of Zayne Adams (FOZA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising awareness of maternal mental health, maternal suicide prevention, and supporting children and families impacted by loss. We are building a thoughtful, ethical fundraising strategy to support our mission in 2026 and beyond.
This Role Does NOT Include
- Grant writing
- Contacting funders or donors
- Asking individuals for donations
- Peer-to-peer or friends-and-family fundraising
