Houston, TX - In-Person Speed Networking April 30th

Goal of the Event: The goal of the Speed Networking is to support students in NPower’s IT fundamentals program, which empowers young adults and military connected individuals in tech. This event provides students with the opportunity to have a multiple rounds of networking and practicing elevator pitches with IT/Tech or business professionals who have 3+ years of professional experience.

Event Description: Join us for this in-person Speed Networking event, where you’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping NPower students prepare for their careers in tech. During this event, volunteers will engage students in multiple rounds of networking and elevator pitch practice. Your engagement will help students refine their networking skills and build confidence.

Volunteer Role & Time Commitment:

• Volunteers are IT/Tech or business professionals with over 3 years of experience in these industries.
• Volunteers will participate in multiple rounds of networking with students.
• Volunteer Orientation and Resources: Volunteers are asked to review prep materials, containing an overview and agenda, to prepare for the event
