V A Health Care Group Inc, is always seeking volunteers from the community we serve. Volunteerism is core to the hospice concept in the United States. If you have free time and want to make a difference in the lives of many please call us. We provide extensive training to our volunteers and offer a variety of opportunities - companionship, administrative, special projects, bereavement, and clinical. We also have special programs for volunteers - Veteran-to-veteran volunteers that matches veterans to volunteers within the same branch of the armed forces, long term care volunteers that spend their time in assisted living and skilled nursing facilities, and many other special programs.
