This is more than a volunteer role, it’s a hands-on opportunity to learn how nonprofits grow, build relationships, and secure funding to make lasting impact in communities.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and update donor records in CRM systems
• Track recurring donations and monitor fundraising performance
• Assist with donor thank-you messages and engagement communications
• Support monthly reporting and fundraising tracking
• Help execute key campaigns like Giving Tuesday and year-end appeals
• Track campaign performance and engagement metrics
• Draft donor emails and follow-up communications
• Research grant opportunities aligned with our mission
• Maintain a grant tracking calendar
• Assist with preparing grant materials and documentation
• Support sponsor outreach and follow-ups
• Assist with fundraising efforts tied to major programs and events
• Track sponsorship commitments and ensure deliverables are met

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Detail-oriented and reliable
• Clear and professional written communication
• Interest in nonprofit development, fundraising, or social impact
• Ability to commit consistently each week
• Familiarity with donor/CRM platforms (Givebutter, Zeffy, DonorPerfect, etc.)
• Previous nonprofit or fundraising experience
