Paws R Us is seeking a skilled volunteer to help design, build, and improve our dog care facilities as we work toward creating "Pawtopia"—a safe, enriching, and innovative environment for dogs.
This role is ideal for individuals with experience in construction, carpentry, handyman services, contracting, facility maintenance, fabrication, or DIY building projects.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with facility improvement projects
- Install dog doors and pet access systems
- Build cleanable, safe, and spacious kennel areas
- Construct partitions, walls, gates, and dog-safe barriers
- Help create separate entrances for volunteers and visitors
- Assist with storage, organization, and workspace improvements
- Provide input on future facility expansion and design plans
- Help develop and bring the Pawtopia vision to life
Desired Skills:
- Carpentry
