We’re seeking compassionate and dedicated Patient Companionship Volunteers to bring comfort, conversation, and care to individuals who may be feeling lonely or isolated during their hospital stay, recovery, or long-term care.

About the Role

As a Patient Companion, you’ll:

Spend time talking, reading, or simply offering company to patients

Provide emotional support and a friendly presence

Help brighten someone’s day through kindness and empathy

Travel to facilities or homes where companionship is needed

Whether you’re local or willing to travel, your time and care are invaluable. We’ll match you with patients and facilities that fit your availability and comfort level.

Flexible Scheduling

Volunteer shifts can range from a few hours a week to several visits per month

We’ll work around your schedule

Who We’re Looking For

Friendly, compassionate individuals (18+)

Reliable and respectful of patient privacy

Good listener and conversationalist

Able to travel or willing to volunteer in different areas if needed
