Volunteer Opportunity: Bereavement Support Phone Volunteers Needed

We are seeking compassionate volunteers to help support caregivers and families following the loss of a loved one. As a Phone Volunteer, you will provide friendly check-in calls at 1 month, 3 months, and 6 months after a loss.

Role & Commitment:

• Make supportive phone calls to caregivers and families
• Offer compassion, a listening ear, and information about outreach resources, such as bereavement support groups
• Follow a provided script to guide your conversations
• Commit to volunteering 1-2 days per week, for 1-2 hours each visit
• All calls are made from our Edison, NJ office

Requirements:

• Complete volunteer training and meet health requirements
• Attend the Edison, NJ, office for your volunteer shifts
