The Friendly Visitor program matches volunteers with isolated seniors looking for companionship and support. The volunteers visits the client at least 1-2 times per month on a mutually agreeable schedule. Friendly visitors talk, play games, and spend time with isolated older adults and may assist with light housekeeping, errands, preparing a meal or taking a senior to a local event. Eligibility: 50+ years old; lives alone, has received a case management assessment.
