Do you have a certified therapy dog? Join us as a Hospice Pet Therapy Volunteer.
Bring comfort and joy to hospice patients through the special bond you share with your certifed therapy dog.
Your visits can brighten spirits, ease anxiety, and provide gentle companionship when it means the most.
No prior hospice experience needed - just a well trained, certified therapy dog and a loving heart. Together, you and your furry friend can make a meaningful difference.
All therapy dogs need to be...
- Registered with accredited agency such as Pet Partners Therapy Animal Program or Therapy Dogs Internations
- Have Vaccinations
- Current license
- At least 1 year old
- Veterinarian certification of good health
- Signed patient consent
