Volunteering at the Pinnacles National Park Nature Center
Detalhes
Descrição
National Parks continue to operate with skeletal crews. Many of the seasonal staff available at Pinnacles National Park (Paicines, CA) during the winter months have left or are leaving soon for summer roles in other locations. With Park operations stressed, the Pinnacles National Park Foundation is working to identify volunteers to help Park visitors. In particular, we need to add volunteers for the Bear Gulch Nature Center. If you’re available, you’ll welcome visitors, share park information, and hand out Junior Ranger books and badges. No experience needed—just curiosity and a willingness to learn! Directions and brief training will be provided. Help is also needed with directing parking on weekends at the Park. Volunteers need to be able to travel to and arrive at Pinnacles' East Entrance before 9 a.m. on weekends. Ideally, an individual would be available from 9-4 at the Nature Center.

Pinnacles National Park
Orientações
Please note that volunteers need to have their own vehicles to get the the Park; volunteers are needed on the EAST SIDE of Pinnacles National Park (approx. 1/2 hour drive south of Hollister, CA). Parking on weekends is very impacted, so volunteers (who will be provided with parking spots, once we have their commitment, and their license plate number) need to arrive before 9 a.m. on Saturdays and/or Sundays. We need to communicate with you in advance, and will give you more specific directions and guidance at that time.
