Muscatine area Pet Therapy Companionship Visitors for hospice patients

St. Croix Hospice is looking for individuals to make pet therapy visits to our patients. As a pet therapy companionship volunteer you can enrich the lives of terminally ill patients in your community. Hours are extremely flexible.

Interested individuals must provide proof of valid pet therapy verification through an accredited program and all immunizations up to date. Individuals will need complete our companionship training requirements as required.

Become a friend/companion to a patient when they really need it most! If you have a little extra time and are looking for something rewarding to do, look no further. When assigned to a patient, we will review the details of the patient’s life before we introduce you to them. We provide you with all the training and any resources you may need.
