AMEDISYS HOSPICE SERVES THE GREATER PHILADELPHIA AREA. BEING A COMPANIONSHIP VOLUNTEER FOR OUR PATIENTS IS A WONDERFULLY FULFILLING OPPORTUNITY. OUR PATIENTS ARE LOCATED IN HOMES AND FACILITIES IN PHILADELPHIA, BUCKS AND MONTGOMERY COUNTIES.
Amedisys Hospice gives patients who are facing a life-limiting illness the freedom to live ALL the days of their lives by offering comfort, dignity, and quality of life. If you have a passion for caring for others and are looking for a way to make a difference in people’s lives, consider becoming a hospice volunteer. We are currently looking for volunteers for the following:
- COMPANIONSHIP/SOCIALIZATION
- PROVIDING RESPITE FOR CAREGIVERS
- MAKING WEEKLY SUPPORT CALLS TO FAMILIES
- MUSIC, PET TX, VETERAN TO VETERAN, AND OTHER SPECIALIZED VISITS
- BIOGRAPHY-WRITING/INTERVIEWING
