    Descrição

Help Fund Free Women's Community Programs – Grant Writer Needed!

    About Us

Our Safe Space is a volunteer-run 501(c)(3) nonprofit providing free online workshops, book clubs, and community programs focused on personal growth, connection, and resilience. We serve a growing community of 700+ members and are passionate about creating inclusive, supportive spaces—especially for women and LGBTQ+ individuals.

    The Opportunity

We’re looking for a volunteer Grant Writer who can help us clearly communicate our impact and secure funding to expand our FREE programs.

We are not starting from scratch—we have strong program ideas, clear budgets, and real community impact. We need someone who can help translate that into compelling grant proposals.

    🎯 What You’ll Do

    • Write and edit grant proposals based on existing program ideas
    • Collaborate with our team to gather needed information
    • Tailor messaging to align with funder priorities
    • Help refine and strengthen our overall grant narrative
    • Assist with light reporting or follow-up if desired

    What We’re Looking For

We are especially interested in someone who:

    • Has experience writing successful grant proposals (nonprofit or academic)
    • Can take initiative and work independently
    • Enjoys storytelling and making ideas compelling on paper
    • Is comfortable working with a small, 100% volunteer-led organization
    • Communicates clearly and reliably

    Time Commitment

    • Flexible, project-based
    • Approximately 2 hours per week depending on active grants

    Why This Matters

Your work will directly support free programming that helps individuals build confidence, connection, and resilience in their everyday lives.
