DEPARTMENT: Public Policy
ROLE: Public Policy Advocate
MANAGER: Director of Public Policy
Description:
- Conduct policy research and synthesize information into memos or documents for internal use.
- Works with the Outreach Coordinator to develop written materials or presentations regarding public policy work.
- Conducts research to use in social media or educational posts.
- Involves working with the Digital and Social Media team, and the Legal team.
- Assists the Director of Public Policy with research and written communications for internal and external use.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree - Preferably in Political Science or Pre-Law.
- Proven written and verbal communication skills.
- Some experience in monitoring and tracking legislation.
