Medical Coordinator (Leadership Role) – Rescue City (Remote)

Are you looking to take on a meaningful leadership role within animal rescue? Rescue City is seeking a dedicated Medical Coordinator to become a core part of our organization and play a critical role in supporting the health and wellbeing of our dogs.

This is a high-impact, administrative leadership position within our organization. The Medical Coordinator works closely with fosters, adopters, and veterinary partners to ensure all dogs receive timely, organized, and appropriate medical care. This role is essential to the daily operations and continued growth of Rescue City.

We are looking for someone who is not only detail-oriented and compassionate, but also eager to grow with the organization and take long-term ownership of this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and organize incoming veterinary and medical records
• Communicate medical updates, needs, and treatment plans with foster and adoption teams
• Coordinate and follow up on veterinary appointments with foster families
• Liaise with veterinary partners to ensure continuity of care
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical tracking systems

Ideal Candidate:

• Able to commit approximately 5-10 hours per week, with consistent availability to monitor and respond to communications
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
• Proactive, accountable, and able to take initiative in a fast-paced environment
• Passionate about animal rescue and interested in growing into a long-term leadership role

A small monthly stipend is available for this position.
