Empowering Teens to Lead with Purpose

The KC Kansas Angels Teen Ambassador Program equips teens to make a real difference in the lives of children and families experiencing foster care—while growing as leaders themselves. Teen Ambassadors learn what it means to serve intentionally, lead with compassion, and use their voices and talents to create positive change in their community.

Through hands-on service projects, fundraising efforts, and community engagement, Teen Ambassadors gain leadership skills, confidence, and a deeper understanding of the foster care system. They don’t just volunteer—they take ownership, work as a team, and see the impact of their efforts firsthand.

Teen Ambassadors commit to serving throughout the school year, participating in meetings and service opportunities. Along the way, they build meaningful friendships, strengthen leadership skills, and learn that their actions truly matter.
