Outreach & Blanket Making for Children in Need

Sharing Love Community Outreach is a U.S.-based 501©(3) nonprofit focused on supporting children, youth, babies and families through community outreach and giveback programs. Our work has included distributing school supplies, shoes, sports apparel, diapers and other essentials, as well as youth-focused community events. We are also working toward expanding programs and partnerships that support children and families, including those with special needs.

Our current “See It Thru” Youth Giveback honors the legacy of Bay Area artist The Jacka. For this effort, we are seeking blankets and other resources that can directly support babies, children and teens in need.

Volunteers could help in several practical ways, including:

• Making or helping collect blankets in coordination with Binky Patrol procedures
• Sorting and organizing donated items
• Preparing items for youth/family distribution
• Helping with setup, distribution and cleanup at community giveback events
• Assisting with outreach and spreading the word about donation and volunteer needs
• Supporting future youth and family community events as opportunities arise
