Fellowship Fresh Food Distribution at Hunters Woods Fellowship House
The USDA Senior Brown Bag food distribution takes place on the third Wednesday of each month. There are two volunteer shift options available-one in the morning and one in the afternoon, each lasting two hours. The distribution typically involves over 5,000 pounds of food.
Please note that these donations may be heavy.
- Volunteers are asked to wear gloves while handling food.
- Everyone must sign in and out on an electronic system that requests your mobile number.
- Volunteers must be fever-free and have no respiratory infection symptoms (e.g., cough, sore throat, or shortness of breath).
- A person also may not volunteer at a Fellowship Square site if s/he has had contact with an individual testing positive with COVID-19 in the last five days.
- Volunteers must be at least 14 years of age.
- Note that this role requires physical activity: walking, bending, stooping, reaching and lifting objects up to 25 lbs.

Parking Instructions: Please Park in the Hunters Woods Plaza Shopping Center.
Building Location: Hunters Woods Fellowship House is located to the left of the Reston Community Center, behind the Buffalo Wing Factory.
