Free Christmas Event Volunteer Opportunity
Event Date: Saturday, December 20, 2025
Time: 10:00 AM
Location: Harvest Church — 4715 TX-36, Rosenberg, TX 77471
Event Type: Community Holiday Celebration (Free to the Public)
JP Cares, in partnership with Harvest Church, is hosting a Free Christmas Event for families in our community. The celebration includes snacks, drinks, toys, face painting, cookie decorating, pictures with Santa, holiday décor, giveaways, and fun activities for children of all ages. Volunteers play an essential role in making this experience joyful, safe, and memorable for every family who attends.
Volunteer Responsibilities
Volunteers may be assigned to one or more of the following roles:
🎁 Event Setup & Decorating
- Assist with setting up tables, booths, signs, décor, and activity stations.
- Help arrange the gift and toy distribution area.
🎨 Activity & Game Stations
- Support children at arts & crafts tables.
- Help run face-painting, cookie decorating, or toy distribution stations.
- Engage families and ensure children enjoy activities safely.
📸 Santa Photo Assistance
- Assist with organizing families in line for photos.
- Help distribute small treats or toys during the photo experience.
🎄 Hospitality & Guest Support
- Greet families as they arrive and provide event directions.
- Distribute snacks, drinks, or giveaway items.
- Ensure event spaces remain clean and welcoming.
🎉 Prize & Raffle Support
- Help facilitate prize drawings or giveaways.
- Assist with maintaining crowd flow and orderly participation.
🧹 Cleanup & Breakdown
- Support cleanup of activity stations and event space.
- Help pack supplies and restore the venue to its original condition.
Volunteer Qualifications
No specialized experience is required—just enthusiasm and a willingness to help. Ideal volunteers will have:
- A friendly, welcoming attitude
- Comfort engaging with children and families
- Ability to stand or move around during the event
- Reliability and ability to follow instructions
- Interest in community service, youth support, or holiday programming
What Volunteers Gain
