Help End Clothing Insecurity in Chicago - Volunteer with Cradles to Crayons!

Cradles to Crayons (C2C), founded in 2002, provides children living in homeless or low-income situations, with the essential items they need to thrive-at home, at school, and at play. We supply clothing, shoes, diapers, school supplies, and more, free of charge. Our vision is that one day all children will have the essentials they need to thrive.

We rely on volunteers to help us quality check, sort, and organize donated items to be packaged up and ready for distribution to our partners! We need your help!

We are looking for adult volunteers to help us during the weekdays in particular. We offer shifts Tuesday-Friday 10 am to 12 pm and 1:30-3:30 pm as well as Saturdays 10 am to 12 pm and 1:30-3:30 pm. All shifts must be scheduled in advance; we do not accept walk-ins. If you contact us via Idealist, we will follow up with information on how to sign up in our volunteer portal online!
