Bake & Deliver Warm Meals to Families in Need

Hello Everyone,

My name is Justine Drewery & I am the Seattle Area Local Leader for a non-profit called Lasagna Love in Seattle, WA!

What is Lasagna Love? Lasagna Love is a federally recognized, neighbor helping neighbor, non-profit whose mission is to end the stigma surrounding asking for help and feeding those in need within the community& We need your HELP! We have MANY requests for lasagnas (or other hearty entrees) and need more volunteers to provide these meals.

How does it work? Upon signing up, you will determine your quantity*, frequency** and delivery distance***. Each week requesters are matched with volunteers.Volunteers with Lasagna Love gather ingredients, bake & deliver lasagnas (or other hearty meals) to who they have been matched with.

• Quantity = how many families you wish to cook for each time.
• *Frequency = how often you would like to cook; the options are, once a week, bi-weekly, once a month or just one time.
• **Delivery distance = how far you are willing to drive to deliver the meals to your matches.

How can you help? Do you have a few hours to spare to complete an act of kindness for a neighbor? Are you looking for a special and meaningful family activity? Are you apart of a women's club, church group, etc., who is looking for volunteer hours? Do you have a kiddo whose school has a volunteer requirement? If you answered yes to any of the questions above, then the solution is to sign up with Lasagna Love!
