Heinzerling Community Gala Volunteer Committee

Each year, Heinzerling Community holds a special auction gala to raise funds for the annual needs of our residents. This event will occur on February 26, 2027. Leading up to the event, our Heinzerling Community Gala Volunteer Committee meets once a month to plan. These meetings will be one hour long and will occur in person or on Zoom. The dates of these meetings will be mutually agreed upon based on the committee members' schedules. Key responsibilities of the committee member include:

• Participate in a monthly one-hour meeting from August to February
• Secure 7-10 silent auction items/packages and assist in identifying potential live auction packages
• Promote the gala with family, friends, colleagues, and others in your sphere of influence
• Provide 1-2 event sponsor prospects and work with Heinzerling Development Director to carry out a solicitation ask to the prospective sponsor
• Attend the gala on February 26, 2026, if schedule allows. Volunteer at the event if able. These are encouraged, but not required to be on the committee
• Invite 5-10 people you know to attend and participate in the gala
