Hand stitching to turn kids toys into safe pet toys!

Do you love hand stitching? Maybe you enjoy needlepoint or other crafty projects. If so, we have a way you can help animals in need across the country.

We are looking for 2 volunteers to help us turn gently loved kid stuffed toys into adorable pet toys. The toys you work on have been sanitized and anything that could be harmful to a dog has been removed. (Plastic eyes, noses, beads inside, etc.)

The toys are cut open -- usually on the belly -- and will either have a squeaker inside or not. (We make both available.) You stitch the toy closed. Some of our volunteers use a chain stitch. Others use fancier stitches. Either is fine. Familiarity with hand stitching is all that is required.

The toys are then sold and 100% of the profits are donated to animal causes. Feel free to email if you have any questions.
